I booked through a cosmetic surgery cafe and got eye-area fat removal? and eye correction. For the eye consultation, they explained things kindly and well, and I also asked about the nose consultation, but at that time it felt a little perfunctory. (This is just my personal feeling.) The doctor was tall and handsome. He was young.. The hospital is on the small side, and after the consultation the manager did the estimate, but there was quite a lot of pressure to book. On the day of surgery, I got one last check from the doctor, but honestly, the cigarette smell was really strong then, which I didn’t like. When talking face to face, it wasn’t a faint smell, but the smell of someone who had just smoked and come right over... I felt that wasn’t really appropriate. The operating room was small, probably because it was a simple surgery, and honestly it felt more like a treatment room than an operating room. It was open on all sides and didn’t feel isolated from the outside, so I was honestly disappointed. Maybe because I’m a man and didn’t expect some dramatic transformation, I don’t have many complaints about the surgery itself, since it met the needs I wanted: improving eyes that looked sleepy, tired, and angry. But the things the manager had tempted me with at first, like how they would take care of me after surgery, didn’t amount to any real contact afterward, so when it was over it felt like “so what, now we’re strangers,” which bothered me a bit.
