I was hesitating about whether to go, but I went for a same-day consultation for revision double eyelid surgery because the line looked pretty and they seemed good at incisional and non-incisional methods. I had the consultation on a weekday evening, and there was no one waiting and no phone calls. Maybe they were tired, but they didn't even look at me, didn't listen to what I said, and kept looking to the side, only turning around when I asked a question... It was the first time I'd met such a careless doctor, and I felt bad. When drawing the line, they just roughly marked the right eye twice and ended it, so when I asked them to mark the left eye too, they finally marked the left eye three times. Maybe because it was marked so roughly, I didn't like the line. The consultation was just the obvious explanation of the difference between incisional and non-incisional methods. There was nothing about understanding my eyes or anything professional. At every hospital I'd recently visited, they said my eyelid-opening strength was good so I didn't need eye muscle correction, but here they said I use my eyebrows to open my eyes, so that felt a bit odd. When I asked whether eye muscle correction was necessary, they said I could do it or not do it since my eyes aren't at the level of being unable to open them well. They told me I could choose among non-incisional double eyelid, double-layer non-incisional, duo-lock, and incisional surgery. Still, shouldn't they at least look at my eyes and recommend something after understanding them to some extent? There was a 10,000 won consultation fee, and this was the place where I felt that money was the most wasted, and I even regretted going for the consultation. At least the manager was kind. The price was entered as the most basic non-incisional price.
