I had my first eye surgery 9 years ago, and because of complications from the eye correction surgery I developed lagophthalmos. I have severe dry eye syndrome, so I’m looking around for revision surgery, but for now they said to only release the part that was partially overcorrected. They said the sunken upper eyelid and the line after release would be future issues. They looked at me very carefully, but even now I still have significant upper eyelid hollowing, so the side that is more hollow feels drier, but they said they wouldn’t prioritize correcting the line. I’m thinking about surgery.
