I had a non-incisional lateral canthoplasty here four years ago. I thought it would loosen because it was non-incisional, but it has still held up firmly. If I had chosen the incisional method, I think it might have stuck together and looked strange, but because it was non-incisional there is no scar, and the eye angle has been raised exactly as much as I wanted, so I am very satisfied. The swelling also disappeared completely starting about a week later. The recovery period was so fast that it felt almost more like a procedure than surgery. What I am most satisfied with is that I originally had natural double eyelids, and as the outer corners were lifted, my eyes also became longer horizontally, so I am extremely satisfied.
