When my friend was consulting about her nose, I had overheard the doctors always saying my nose was pretty, so I didn't really know what shape I wanted and just thought I could have the bridge and tip raised a bit. Since there were a lot of comments here, I didn't even get consultations anywhere else and just had surgery here. (That was foolish.) My surgery was scheduled for daytime, but the previous operation ran long, so I waited for more than two hours. I got anxious then, but it was my first cosmetic surgery and I really had no sense of what was normal. As soon as the splint came off, the nose looked too high and I thought, is this really right? On my not-low nose they put a 4 mm silicone implant, plus septal extension, and the tip was pinched, so it just became Pinocchio all over. The starting point of the silicone on the glabella was too obvious too, so a horizontal line? The T-shape showed clearly on the glabella... Maybe because they were in a hurry and did it carelessly, they only did septal extension and didn't reinforce the columella, so the columella curled inward (Like Han Ga-in's nose - but worse than Han Ga-in. Han Ga-in can look okay because everything else is pretty and glamorous. This is a severe case of columellar depression.) While I was suffering through it, the columella area was always red and painful. Since it was my first surgery, I thought it was just healing slowly, but after searching cosmetic forums I saw many people saying it looked like inflammation, so I first went to a neighborhood internal medicine clinic, described the symptoms, got antibiotics, and went back to plastic surgery. They glanced at it and said it was scar tissue.. lol So I said it wasn't, took the antibiotics, the swelling and pain went away, and asked them to look properly; when I lay on the operating table, they said I had taken the medicine well and that it really was inflammation. They reopened my nose while I was fully awake, washed it out, scraped out the inflammation... In the meantime, the doctor and staff were all way too rough My face, which I had been told looked cute and delicate.. They completely made me into a male celebrity "Boom" nose, so back then I didn't meet anyone except my family... All you could see on my face was the nose, and the columella was just cut off. In the end I suffered so much that after 6 to 7 months I had a full removal at a specialist clinic in Seoul. They said my original nose was pretty but they had done too much work on the tip, and showed me all the surgery process photos. I really wanted to turn back time. They said they'd been in such a rush that they even cut the alar cartilage, so they had to reinforce everything with the septum and also added donor dermis, and my nasal obstruction got worse.... Then after joining a removal group chat, strangely enough I saw many people from Daegu who had the surgery here and then had it removed, and hearing that they all removed it for the same reason as me (female, but they made a man's nose. Super high and a super long midface) made me even more disgusted. So aesthetic sense can also look tacky.. But removal wasn't the end... The bridge had split badly, and the alar cartilage supporting the columella had been cut and crushed to the point that the columella was completely crooked and a mess... Once the columella lost support, even from the front the crooked columella that had only been visible from below started becoming crooked. After holding out as much as possible after removal, I had columella reconstruction and bridge-splitting correction done at a reconstructive clinic. What still feels unfair is that it had been a truly barely noticeable hump, but they shaved off a huge amount just to fit a high silicone implant, haha. I learned how much hell this place put me through, and that in cosmetic forum comments you can't just trust recommendation posts alone haha..
