I've had double eyelid correction revision surgery 4 times. I've tried both incisional and non-incisional methods, and had fat removal twice. Even so, after surgery my eyes would open clearly at first, but after about 6 months or more, the feeling of heaviness in my eyelids would still remain. Honestly, from my position as the patient who had the surgery, I could only think that the eye surgery had not been done well enough. No matter how much I told the hospital that performed it, they kept saying the eye surgery had been done perfectly fine, so I went to other hospitals too and explained my symptoms to them and got consultations, right? Every other place talked about another eye revision surgery, but only this place said something different. They said the eyes and opening them seem to be completely fine, but if you look at the eyebrows, they're sitting a lot lower than where they should originally be, and in cases like this, no matter how much you approach it from the eye area, it won't improve. They said I would need a forehead lift to raise the drooping eyebrows back to the proper position. I had looked into forehead lifts too, but I wasn't interested at all because they said it would make the forehead wider; my forehead was already broad, so that was a no-go;; They said I could do a forehead reduction together with the lift, so I did that, and the cost was burdensome, but compared with having had revision surgery four times, well.. The surprising thing is that after the forehead lift, the heavy feeling in my eyelids completely disappeared, and I'm also satisfied that my forehead got narrower.
