I had corner-of-the-mouth surgery about 3–4 years ago. Since I did it without researching the fact that it can leave significant scars, I think I ended up spending more money on scar care afterward T_T. The surgical result was not bad. However, because it was initially done naturally, it gradually drooped again, and now the corners are slightly lifted. The two sides are a little different in shape, but as time passed, that stopped bothering me too. Scarring is the biggest issue with corner-of-the-mouth surgery, so I hope only people who do not mind scars undergo it.
