I previously received filler treatment from Dr. Kim Seong-hwan, the clinic's chief director. The results were natural and I was satisfied overall, so I returned this time because I wanted the same doctor to perform the treatment again. However, during the consultation, I was told that receiving consultation and treatment from the chief director would now cost 20% more than the existing fee. I had visited intending to undergo the treatment again because I had been satisfied with the previous results, but the additional 20% felt personally burdensome, so I ultimately left without getting the treatment this time. Of course, I understand that fees may vary depending on the doctor's experience and treatment satisfaction. However, when receiving filler treatment on several areas together, a 20% difference felt greater than expected. At that price, I even thought it might be better to make time to go to Seoul and receive not only filler but also other dermatological and cosmetic treatments while I was there. I hope more plastic-surgery clinics and medical professionals specializing in excellent filler treatment emerge in Gwangju, giving patients more choices. If more skilled clinics appear and competition becomes more active, consumers should be able to compare prices, medical professionals, and treatment methods and make more reasonable choices. I was satisfied with the previous treatment itself, but this is a disappointing return-visit review from someone who gave up on treatment this time because of the additional 20% fee for designating the chief director.
