It wasn’t my own choice, and I went because my parents told me to... but the person who counseled me explained things kindly, so I heard it in a good mood!! The doctor was very direct, so it hurt a bit, but... I did get the feeling that she was being sincere. I also heard that if I were to have surgery, I’d need to go under sedation anesthesia, but I felt relieved because it seemed like they were paying a lot of attention to minimizing side effects and keeping things as safe as possible... I still need to wait until after surgery and until the swelling goes down, but so far it’s good.
