The wait was unbelievably long. Excluding the consultation with the manager, I waited over an hour just to see the director. The director was kind and charismatic, and seemed to prioritize safe surgery. That was something I liked from before too, which is why I had my first surgery here, but they did not recommend revision surgery. They said it would require autologous costal cartilage, so the scale of the surgery would get bigger, and whether I could handle that was up to me. One side inside my nose has narrowed, so my rhinitis is really severe, and I asked for improvement on that, but they said it would be hard to improve with revision surgery and might even get worse, so I decided to hold off.... Even so, I wonder if I’m being too demanding to want even the functional part improved after 10-plus years, considering it was my own nose they made. I did like that they were honest and explained the difficult parts of my nose well. Honestly, if this doctor said they could improve the functional part, I’d trust them and want to have surgery again.
