I have congenital ptosis. My left eye had at least some strength, but my right eye had almost zero muscle strength, so it was severe ptosis. So when I was 13, I had the first correction at ㅂㅋ because my vision was getting worse (even then, they said I would need a revision once I became an adult). As I kept growing, my double eyelid started to loosen, so I went around looking at places, but most of the doctors seemed hesitant and lacked confidence. But the director at ㅈㅇㅈ said, “Let’s try it once, and I’ll do my best,” so I went ahead with it. As expected, the left eye turned out well, but the right eye loosened again quickly. Still, they did two free follow-up revisions over two years ㅜㅜ. For the third surgery, they said, “This is my selfish wish, but let’s try one more time,” and they were really passionate about the surgery too. Even so, it loosened again, so I eventually went to another hospital, but they knew it was already a difficult case, so I was satisfied in my own way, and I’m happy that my left eye turned out well!
