I had calf reduction surgery a long time ago, and at the time I decided after reading every single post because the surgical technique explanation sounded extremely professional and it seemed like they used really good machines. A few months later it came back, so I had revision surgery. This time it was a touch-up, so I didn't pay, but then it came back again and I paid around one million won for a third round and just gave up and lived with it. Right now, my left leg is bent outward, the inner side caves in when I point my toes, and both legs are badly uneven. Even after Botox, the inner side caves in severely, so only the outer side keeps developing. The surgery definitely included my outer calves, but... I went for a consultation recently and they said my records are old so they don't have them anymore, and that the bulge from compensation by the outer gastrocnemius is unavoidable. They said I could try surgery on the outer side only again, and the price would be a bit cheaper than the listed price on the website. They didn't charge a consultation fee. Not just here, but calf reduction surgery seems to come back again and again with asymmetry and lumps, so it seems better not to do it.
