There was no wait at all; I immediately had a CT scan and then consulted with the coordinator. The coordinator seemed proud of the director. Even before the consultation, she kept emphasizing that the director was extremely thorough and responsible. I cannot say the director's consultation felt particularly thorough. He just pulled my nose a few times, looked it over, and said, “It should be possible,” which was about it. What was different from other hospitals was that they all said I would need costal cartilage, but only the director here said ear cartilage would also be possible.
