I had revision surgery to correct asymmetrical double eyelids, but they created even worse asymmetry. During the consultation, they said, “We can fix the symmetry, just lift only the front part that has loosened,” but when I went back for the 3-month checkup, they said, “This was an eye that was bound to end up asymmetric no matter what.” They made one side an out line and the other an in-out line, and then say my eyes couldn’t be helped, so what is a patient supposed to trust when getting surgery? If they had said it would be hard to make it symmetrical, I wouldn’t have had the surgery in the first place, but their attitude is completely different between the consultation and the post-op follow-up. If I could go back, I would never get surgery here. One eye became completely sausage-like and I got a big scar at the inner corner of the eye. “Asymmetry + scar + sausage”
