I had a consultation in January 2019, and I note that the estimated cost may differ from what it was back then. When I asked about the difference between natural adhesion and buried stitches, the doctor said they were basically the same thing and that it was only a difference in how they were marketed. He said that here they perform surgery using a double-buried-stitch method so that the stitches won’t come undone, and that part gave me some trust. I think at the time they said sedation anesthesia was not available and only local anesthesia could be done. When I asked whether they give swelling shots after surgery, the doctor said they would give them if the swelling were severe, but he did not recommend them. I think he said those swelling injections contained steroid ingredients. And because they said they would tailor it to my facial features/image, I felt a strong sense of one-on-one care, which I liked. That made me understand why so many people recommend private clinics. As for the stitches, they said if the knot and suture area were large, the stitches would be removed on days 2 to 3; if the suture area was not very large, I could wash my face starting on day 3 and come back on day 7 for a follow-up. The aftercare guarantee was 6 months to 1 year. It was one of the two places I liked most, and I think it was one of the clinics I agonized over until the very end.
