The tip of my nose started to develop a slight contracture, and it felt like my nose was being pulled up. The goal was to remove the silicone and ear cartilage so that the angle of the nasal tip would come down compared to now. During the consultation, they confidently said that removal alone would be enough to improve it. When they said I did not need to undergo derotation (the surgery that lowers the nasal tip with ear cartilage), I ruled out other clinics telling me to do a revision and had the surgery at Jeongsuk, where the removal price was more than 1-2 million KRW higher. (The average removal cost at other hospitals was around 4.5-5.5 million KRW.) When I went back for the 3-month follow-up, the angle was the same (the frontal shape had improved a lot). When I calmly said that, they got irritated and said, "Then why did you get removal only instead of derotation?" They were the one who recommended that removal alone would be enough, but it seems like they do not even remember. I never said I would absolutely only remove it either, but now they act like they know nothing... It felt like I was talking to a completely different person. They do not seem to have any intention of taking responsibility for what they said. I could not see the kind, friendly attitude from the consultation after the surgery.
