I hastily booked the surgery for the first slot the day after the consultation. The patient right after me was scheduled for nose surgery, and their reservation time was only 15 minutes apart from mine. So I didn't trust them and canceled the surgery, but even though I canceled just one day later, I didn't get a refund of the deposit because they treated it as a same-day cancellation. They called me raising their voice, saying they didn't understand what I didn't trust about it. I had first booked it for the next day because they were pushing so hard for me to have surgery that day... They said the nose surgery for the next time slot needed preparation time, so even though the reservations were 15 minutes apart, the surgery time would be fine, but am I not supposed to prepare too? Surgery can have unexpected situations and differs from person to person, so I just don't know if the director is so confident they can finish surgery within 20 minutes no matter what.. or what.. A place that takes surgery reservations like that doesn't seem trustworthy.
