I decided to have my second nose revision at Answer. While I was going around visiting clinics, after my last consultation with the coordinator, I was hooked, so even though I had already paid a reservation deposit for nose surgery at another hospital, I chose this one even though I had to bear the cost. The doctor consultation was decent, and he has a rather dry personality. He seemed to have pride in his surgery. This hospital did not have the light, playful vibe of a place where the desk staff and female assistants joke around and fool around, and I actually liked that stiffness. They try their best to meet the patient's needs, and they adjusted the canthoplasty to match the eye symmetry. I had been greedy and had a secondary canthoplasty done somewhere else, only to be left with scars, so I am feeling that here they did it naturally without scars. T.T My skin is very thin and delicate, so scars form easily and it is sensitive, but they really operated with an extremely delicate, very thin method here. After the canthoplasty, the doctor himself had to come once in the middle for a disinfection check, so you absolutely have to stop by at least once. That means it is a bit inconvenient because you have to be seen at least twice. It is not dramatically wide, but there are truly no scars, and unlike other places, it does not become a V-shape or look obvious even while the stitches are still in after surgery, which I liked haha. Even after the surgery, unless I explain it, the bilateral canthoplasty looks like this < and people would not know I had surgery because the eyes got bigger. The nose surgery was an open procedure and was done with removal of ear cartilage inside the nose, a slight reduction of the bridge, insertion of new cartilage and silicone, tying up the tip, and osteotomy !!!!!!!!!! But out of nowhere, they ended up removing Gore-Tex. (-> It was silicone removal) Because the hospital called it silicone, I really had no idea. They said they had to remove all of the ear cartilage from the previous hospital because it could not be preserved. They explained that those cartilages were probably making it hard for me to breathe. They said there was a lot of bleeding when removing the Gore-Tex, and that it took longer than expected. After that, I came back to check the progress of stitch removal and recovery, and I was very satisfied and doing well. After a few months, I started to notice some weird smell inside my nose??? and some swelling and pain, so I made a consultation appointment, and eventually after the consultation I had a third surgery to remove the silicone. It could not be helped, so they scheduled it and did the surgery right after the consultation. Even though it looked fine, when I said I smell something and there is some discomfort and pain, they listened from the patient's perspective and operated. At that time I was worried that removing the silicone would make the nose shape weird, but since it was silicone placed slightly on top of a bridge that had already been reduced, there was not a big difference after removal haha. Actually it looks a bit more natural and pretty!!!! There is no discomfort, so it is good. The doctor was the type who showed that he takes responsibility and treats the patient he is in charge of properly all the way through, without needing 10 or 100 extra words.
