Among all the canthoplasty surgeries, this place does it the most naturally. That means if it doesn’t show, it really won’t show, but I’m satisfied. I’m a coward, so I didn’t even consider surgery that would open everything wide in all directions. The doctor’s kindness is average. They aren’t warm, but they answered everything I asked. The surgery was done under local anesthesia. People say the anesthetic shot hurts a lot, but it was about like a dental shot? Still, I never want to get it again. Being conscious during surgery made 30 minutes feel like 3 hours... I could feel some sensation in one eye, so I was sweating buckets. After the surgery, once the anesthesia wore off, it throbbed with pain... I thought I was going to die from the pain. You absolutely need to bring painkillers. I bruise easily and swell a lot, so I was swollen through day 3, and I also developed corneal edema. I rested for about 3 days and went to work, and nobody knew. Even though I still had stitches in, the suturing was done so neatly, almost like eyeliner, that I couldn’t even tell whether they were stitches. The doctor’s suturing skill seems exceptional. It’s been about 2 years since the surgery, and it has gotten a little stuck together, but still better than before.
