I had a nose consultation. They said the surgery would use only autologous costal cartilage, and they did not recommend ear cartilage or anything else at all. (For a first surgery, this was the only place that recommended costal cartilage.) I spent more time talking with the manager than with the director, and it felt like the manager was coordinating the condition of my nose and the surgical method. The director only said roughly what surgery would be done, so I didn't get a very professional impression. They limit each surgeon to two surgeries a day, which makes me feel like they care about surgeon fatigue and such, but at the same time it seems like that's why the cost is high (it was the most expensive among the hospitals I consulted).
