I have an epicanthal fold, but my inner corners were already opened and the distance between my eyebrows was appropriate, so I went for a consultation because I wanted to remove only the epicanthal fold. The staff were unfriendly, although so much time has passed that I do not know whether they still work there. The surgeon gave the consultation very diligently. I clearly said that the distance between my eyebrows must not become shorter and that I only wanted the epicanthal fold removed, but the surgeon said they understood and that opening it just a little would be enough. I trusted them and had the surgery, but there were several disappointing points and my facial balance was disrupted, so I ultimately had restoration surgery... I think it would suit people who definitely want their inner corners opened. But the more they are opened, the more one should carefully consider that scarring and restoration become difficult.
