Visited because of alar reduction. It has been popular on Instagram lately, so I went. I consulted at both [Clinic A] and [Clinic B] to compare them. The reason I chose [Clinic B] was that at the consultation, the consultant said alar reduction + nasal-tip cartilage suturing together would be 2.2 million won. (It was cheaper than [Clinic A]. I thought [Clinic A] might be more expensive because it has such a reputation for noses, so I booked the cheaper [Clinic B].) It felt wasteful to pay too much just for alar reduction... lol But on the day of surgery, they said alar reduction was 1.1 million won + nasal-tip cartilage suturing and bulbous-nose surgery were 2.2 million won, totaling 3.3 million won, so I was like, huh? I canceled the nasal-tip cartilage suturing. I had never heard about bulbous-nose surgery during the consultation, so it was odd that they suddenly said I needed to do it too. I wondered whether such a simple surgery really cost 3.3 million won, so I proceeded with alar reduction only. Dr. Woo Kyung-sik made a good impression, was kind, and explained things well! The consultant was kind too. Unlike other clinics, they were as courteous as staff at a luxury boutique in a department store. All the staff at the desk were kind as well. At other clinics, there are some rude people, but there was nobody like that here. The consultant was not the pushy type either and was very nice. Anyway, I figured there must have been a communication error and let it go. The surgery also turned out neatly, so I let that go too haha. However, the clinic seemed to have an awful lot of surgeries scheduled one after another. My surgery was delayed a little on the day too, and unlike my other surgeries, it was carried out in a great rush even in the operating room. There was no problem with the surgery, though.
