I had a consultation appointment last week and went in for the consultation. They asked in detail about the line and size I wanted. As I explained, the line would be a straight line, and the ends would use only cartilage as autologous material, along with alar reduction, and for the bridge they set about 4 mm of silicone, as they recommended. The doctor also said it seemed like the surgery could proceed without major issues, so it feels reassuring. I still have about three hospitals left where I want to consult, so I'm going to decide after seeing them.
