For my first double-eyelid surgery, about two years ago in winter, on a day when a cold-wave warning had been issued, I made a consultation appointment for 12 o'clock and went in. There were only about three people in the waiting room including me, so I thought I'd be seen soon, but even after waiting 40 minutes, the people waiting with me kept being replaced by new people while my name was never called.. I wondered if my name had been left out, so I went to the counter and asked how much longer I had to wait, and the staff said, 'It looks like you'll only need to wait about 20 to 30 more minutes.' My next consultation was booked at a plastic surgery clinic in Apgujeong for 3 o'clock, so I thought, 'Well, if that's all, I can wait..' and started waiting again. But... another 30 to 40 minutes passed and my name still wasn't called, so around 1:30 I went back to the counter and asked when on earth I could get my consultation... I said honestly that if I had to wait longer, they should just tell me so I could go to a cafe and have some coffee. The staff said, 'Ah, the director went into surgery, so it looks like you'll definitely be able to get your consultation this time, so please wait another 20 to 30 minutes.' As I said before, my next appointment was at 3, and to get to the next hospital I absolutely had to leave by 2:30 at the latest, so I asked, 'I have to leave by 2:30... can I really get my consultation by 2:00 at the latest?' The staff said I really would be able to get seen this time, so I went back to my seat in the waiting room and started waiting again. But even though I deliberately waited until about 2:15 without saying anything, there was still no sign that they would call my name.. I barely held back my anger, went to the counter, and asked, 'I've already waited over two hours, and you keep saying I'll be seen soon, but can I really get a consultation today?' I almost grabbed someone's hair at the consultation staff member's answer.. 'The director has a forum? academic conference? at 2:30 today, so I think it's difficult for you to have a consultation today. We'll need to reschedule it.' ………??? This place treats customers' precious time like trash.^^ And while I was waiting, it seemed like their main source of income was foreigners who can have a lot fixed at once and bring in a lot of money.^ From the hospital's point of view, I guess someone like me doing a small procedure like double-eyelid surgery that doesn't bring in much money wasn't even a customer.. If you want to protect your mental health, don't go there, everyone^^
