About 2 years ago, I was recommended a lower blepharoplasty that I did not even need in the first place, and I decided on it as if I were possessed by a ghost and it completely bombed. I had gone in to ask about lower eyelid fat repositioning or aegyo-sal, but then the doctor suddenly started talking about a midface lift too, and to my own mind I snapped back to reality and said I would only do the lower bleph, but that was also a self-inflicted mistake. I should never have touched it in the first place when there was no extra room there.. Anyway, what was left was ectropion.. the most damn miserable days of my life, one after another.. Ah. It is probably my own fault for making the decision just from trusting the reviews there, but still, if you are a doctor, you should not experiment on a desperate patient or recommend things they do not need, right? I thought about it in a common-sense way and made my decision, but this time I painfully learned that there are many doctors who are not acting with common sense and only see patients as money. If a doctor sees a patient only as money and recommends everything and talks as if everything will turn out fine, then how are they going to take responsibility? When I told them I had ectropion, they said ectropion is this and that, and while my lower lid was already turned inside out, they pulled it straight down with their finger and said this is nothing. For two years I had to go to ophthalmology clinics, and I could not live a single day without eye drops because of conjunctivitis and redness. My eyes burned badly, and wind would blow straight into them, so I could not go outside without taping them or wearing sunglasses. It was infuriating. These days there are so many viral cases that the hospital suddenly has more customers, and every time I see them I feel bad because they seem just like me.
