After my first buried-suture surgery, the sutures were removed because of a recent infection, and I ended up with uneven eyes -> The original surgery had been done as an inner fold, so I asked whether an outer line would be possible, and from that point on it was almost verbal abuse(?) lol. I was told that if I wanted an outer line, I would need a slight epicanthoplasty, but I said I did not want that because it would make the red part show more. I was told to either do an inner fold again but set the line slightly higher, or do an epicanthoplasty + outer fold while accepting the possibility of sausage lids.. They said, 'People who obsess over outer lines need to experience sausage lids once to come to their senses. So if you want an outer fold this time, try buried-suture first, and if you don't like it, do it again.' lol. In a way it was trustworthy because they explained exactly why it would not work, but I did not like that I had to be counseled in a way that assumed a revision surgery. And I do not know if just asking about an outer line means I also have to hear that I need to become a sausage lid to wake up.. Still, I liked that they realistically said no when it could not be done!
