I had a brow lift in my early 20s, about 8 years ago. I wanted my eyes to look bigger without getting double eyelids, and the doctor recommended an under-brow lift. After the surgery, the scar closure was not densely stitched, and they did not prescribe antibiotics separately. The reason was that the doctor said it was sewn cleanly, so there was no risk of inflammation. However, one side of the stitches burst open, and they had to sew it again. When I asked about scar ointment because I was worried about scarring, they said I didn't need to apply anything like that. Eight years later, the scar is still very noticeable and people ask me what it is. I think this may be the choice I regret the most.
