I had it done about 10 years ago, when non-incisional double-eyelid surgery was overwhelmingly popular. But they recommended an incisional procedure, so I had that done. They said incision surgery causes severe swelling, but my swelling was not that bad. Friends who had non-incisional surgery then have had their double eyelids come undone and undergone revision surgery, whereas I have not needed revision surgery. I had it done suddenly at the time, so I did not decide on how many millimeters or what kind of crease; I simply entrusted everything to the doctor, and it came out perfectly suited to my face shape. Even now, more than 10 years later, I have absolutely no intention of having double-eyelid surgery again. Double-eyelid crease trends change over time, but I think mine was tailored well to my face, so I am satisfied.
