I've gone to seven places just for nose consultations. What I wanted was diced cartilage plus a closed approach, so of course I visited all the places that said they could do that. I won't talk about the diagnostic opinions; just about the clinic atmosphere. I arrived at my appointment time, and the consultation began right then. I also didn't have to wait long for the doctor's consultation. At some clinics, the doctor comes out in the middle of surgery (the doctor at that clinic said it proudly, but from a patient's perspective it can only make you anxious....), but it wasn't like that here, which I liked. The clinic itself felt calm. The consultant also didn't make this-or-that claims about surgery and just listened well to my concerns. (Sometimes there are consultants who talk as if they themselves are doctors, and that puts me off.) The consultation with the doctor was good too. Naturally, they took a CT scan and consulted while looking at it, and I liked that the doctor explained in detail the pros and cons of surgery using crushed diced cartilage. The cost is not particularly cheap compared with other clinics, so I need to deliberate more, but if you want to learn about your own nose in detail, it may be worth going for a consultation.
