First double-eyelid surgery in February 2022 -> crease came undone -> received a revision in August 2022 At my first surgery, I emphasized wanting it natural, but it ended up as an almost unnoticeable inline, nearly hidden double eyelid? Then the crease came undone. So when I had the revision, I asked them to make it higher and secure it more clearly this time, but I again ended up with slightly thick double eyelids, and I'm currently looking into another revision. (My preferred look is innocent.) They're not disastrously failed eyes or anything. When I ask people around me, they say they only think, “Oh, the double eyelids are just a bit thick~ a bit dramatic~,” and leave it at that. My less observant friends seem to genuinely think nothing of it. My eyes were very narrow, typical small East Asian eyes to begin with, so they're better than my original eyes, and I think they're just so-so. I don't exactly regret it, but it wasn't an amazing double-eyelid result either…? Communication seems important.
