I went in already knowing that the doctor was cynical, so that was fine. As soon as I walked in, I sat down in a chair, checked my nose from all angles, and had the consultation. They said my hump nose revision surgery would have to be done with costal cartilage, but I was a little scared of having surgery with costal cartilage, so I hesitated. They listed a lot of possible side effects from surgery and reasons it might not turn out the way I wanted, and I wondered if they say the same thing to everyone else. I went in really excited after reading blog reviews and thinking this was my top choice, but there was a gap between the direction I wanted and the direction they suggested. I'm going to think it over and visit other hospitals too.
