The first thing I thought after getting revision nose surgery was that it was really different from my first surgery. I thought I’d be less scared since I’d already done it once, but because it was the nose I’d already operated on, it made me pay even more attention to the small things. At first I thought I’d just fix the parts I wasn’t happy with before, but as I went to consultations, I got pickier and my standards got higher, I guess. I didn’t want to be greedy and end up needing another revision, so I asked them not to make the height or shape too extreme. Even up until the day before surgery, I kept wondering if this was really the best choice. But once it was done, I did feel relieved; I think it’s fair to say I did my best. Every day I was so focused on it and on edge, but once the swelling and bruising went down and I saw that the surgery went well, I did calm down a bit. I don’t know if it’s the same for everyone, but I liked it, so I’m leaving a review.
