After my first open rhinoplasty, I didn't like my nearly straight nose with a hump, so I went for a consultation about secondary rhinoplasty with a closed approach. When I said I wanted a slightly upturned Korean-style nose, they clearly explained the limitations of the closed approach, but also said that if I still wanted a closed approach, it would be possible by shaving only the hump and placing ear cartilage in the tip.
