I had the procedure around March 2024 to remove a raised scar-like bump on my eyelid. I chose the clinic after reading reviews on Naver Blog. It's been a while, so I don't remember exactly, but I think the price was set by size and I paid in the 300,000-won range. During the consultation, the doctor explained that because it was an old scar, a scar might remain and it could come back even if removed. They also said the double-eyelid line would rise higher, so I debated the procedure, but they told me it would still be better than leaving the scar as it was. They spoke realistically without exaggerating, and the price was lower than other clinics I had looked into, so I decided to go ahead. The procedure was done by cutting with a knife and removing the tissue? It finished quickly within 15-20 minutes. After the procedure, I had to keep Steri-Strips on the treated area for several months. As explained, the double-eyelid line did rise, and the knife scar remained, but it was left as a slightly blurred fine line that is hidden when I put on makeup. It has not recurred. Personally, when choosing a hospital I focus on whether things are explained clearly and whether the procedure skill is good, so I do not pay much attention to the tone of the front desk staff or doctor. That said, the front desk staff kept saying fuck fuck and using a lot of harsh swearing, which was uncomfortable (I could hear it very clearly while waiting...) The procedure itself was definitely worth doing and I don't regret it, but since the procedure was not extremely difficult, I do sometimes wonder whether going to a different hospital might have been another option.
