라리 — Review

I went for a consultation about secondary canthoplasty. As soon as I walked in, the director looked at my eyes, made a face like there was no hope, and sighed. Honestly, I already felt a bit bad from that point on, but I just didn’t pay it much mind. He said I had very severe sunken eyes. I had also looked into a lot of things and already understood my eyes to some extent, so I knew that. But during the consultation, he spoke in a dismissive tone, asking whether I really thought my eyes could get much bigger, and recommended eye correction, epicanthoplasty, and canthoplasty. When I asked what if I didn’t do the epicanthoplasty, he said that with this alone it was barely going to get bigger anyway and that even after telling me, I still wouldn’t listen. He glanced over the clinics where I had previously had surgery and said things like I got fooled into doing them, etc. In a way, those are things a doctor giving a consultation could naturally say, but the tone and expression he used were really unpleasant. If I asked anything in the middle, he would just say no, answer as if bothered, and treated me like some kind of nuisance. I came to get a consultation in a good mood, but whenever I asked a question, he kept saying things like hadn’t I consulted at several places and that I should study a bit. When I asked whether secondary canthoplasty done too aggressively wouldn’t look grotesque, he said that even doing it like that would barely make it bigger and I’d have to live with the side effects, and he kept speaking only negatively. It didn’t sound like he was speaking for the patient’s sake or out of concern, but like someone who didn’t want to consult or operate at all..^^ If you have severe sunken eyes, consider it. And when I asked to see before-and-after photos of similar cases, he said there were lots on the website and I should look for them there. Anything I tried to say, he disliked and turned negative. The estimate was around 12 million won, but after a discount it came to 10.01 million won.
