I went in for a consultation thinking that, despite the risk of thyroid-eye complications and scar tissue, a no-double-eyelid surgery would be the final destination. But they didn't even really look at my eyes from different angles, and spoke so confidently as if it was extremely easy, which actually made me trust them less. When I asked, “Is this the same no-double-eyelid surgery as in other hospitals?”, they said yes, but explained that in the past they used to simply excise and stitch it just above the eyelid, whereas now they mix in different techniques and have greatly solved the problem of the eyes not closing properly..!
