The director of the counseling center first asked what style I wanted and what questions I had, and then the doctor came in and explained the incisional and buried-suture methods and answered my questions. The line could be done either way, but they said buried sutures could come undone, and if they do, they don't return to the original state but require revision surgery. It felt like they were giving me options, but they seemed to recommend the incisional method. After the consultation with the doctor, the counseling manager consulted with me again
