I visited in a very irritated state because they had changed my appointment date and time twice. The previous hospitals said only a straight bridge was possible, but here they said a straighter bridge with a gentle curve was possible. If 2 mm of silicone is inserted, they can shave down the dorsal hump more and create a curved line; without silicone, a curved line is not possible (They said there wasn’t that much septal cartilage to begin with, so shaving more would cause functional problems) Tip with ear cartilage and septal cartilage. Because the nose is bent to one side, they said they should not correct it to perfectly straight, but correct it to a middle point between the current angle and straight so it would match my current facial asymmetry. When smiling, the hooked nose would be corrected and the bone beside the hump would be osteotomized only very slightly. After surgery, the nostrils would show a little more than they do now, but the round nostrils would become vertically oriented, so it wouldn’t be much of a problem. Other hospitals deducted 10,000 won from the consultation fee in exchange for changing the appointment time, but here there was nothing like that. They changed the appointment time too often, so I felt their professionalism dropped a lot. And it’s strange that they claim insurance processing even though there is no ENT specialist here. I heard that at a clinic that is only a plastic surgery clinic, that code itself doesn’t even get issued...
