It was my first surgery, so I only thought about doing buried sutures. First, the good points ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (the downsides are below) The manager was very kind and the consultation was detailed, which I liked. During the consultation, they told me the rough schedule for the day, like how many minutes it would take to prepare if I had surgery, how many minutes for photos and consent forms, how many minutes for surgery, how many minutes for recovery, and so on, which was nice. The director seemed very quiet and kind. He first designed the line himself and then had me hold up a mirror to check it. During the consultation he did not really mention a recommended line? It felt more like, whatever I wanted...~ but on the day of surgery, when setting the line, they showed me a total of 3 options, and since I was deciding between 2 of them, he recommended one by saying that, in his opinion, this line would hold better and not loosen, and that this height would lead to higher satisfaction afterward, so I trusted him (I went with the recommended line and I like it, thumbs up). From other reviews, it seemed like everyone was getting a similar line! But he said that at any hospital, each director has their own set line they tend to use. Still, I liked the director's line here, and most importantly!!! when I explained my line in detail, the director listened and reflected even a little of what I said. (At another hospital, during the consultation they basically told me they would decide the line themselves and did not listen to me at all.) My face is slightly asymmetrical, so my eyes are also asymmetrical, and at another hospital they said it could not be matched. But here, the director said he would make the lines as similar-looking as possible by setting them differently! And on the actual surgery day, he checked several times while making the line. (And for real, just by looking quickly, I could see the asymmetry had improved, so I was very satisfied... I heard that because it is structural, it cannot be perfectly corrected!!) The downsides are 🙁🙁 The hospital is on the smaller side and the layout is kind of U-shaped, so after surgery, if you want to go to the changing room, you have to pass through the lobby. I went to change clothes when there was no one in the lobby, but when I came out after changing, there were a few people there. And it seems there is no separate anesthesiology specialist doctor..! I did not see one on the website either, and I did not meet one on the day of surgery (I could be wrong.. if you care about whether there is an anesthesiologist, ask directly during the consultation~) So maybe because of that, they do not put you fully to sleep with sedation; they only make you lightly groggy. That means when they do the local anesthesia in the eyes, you do feel it say ow! But it is okay. You say ow! and then fall asleep again right away.. you just need to endure it for a moment. Because the sedation was light, I did not have weird dreams or anything like that either. It just felt like a nice nap..~ The last downside is that because it is a one-doctor hospital, the wait can get very long depending on the situation that day. On surgery day, it was the first slot, so I did not have to wait, which was nice (I recommend the first slot). When I went to get the stitches removed and when I went for the one-month follow-up, I waited a lot.. They even contacted me in the middle and changed the schedule once (probably because surgery came up.. since I had already had my surgery, I was already a caught fish(?)) I think that is the downside of a one-doctor hospital T_T Anyway, overall I was very satisfied, and I really like my eyes after surgery now, so I wrote this at length because I hope the director can keep working for a long time,, Even if it loosens later, I will come back, director, thank you ~
