Before surgery, what I feared most was the pain. Reading reviews, I saw that it varied so much from person to person, and I was worried I might hurt a lot too, but once I actually had it done, it was better than I expected. Of course, on the first day my chest felt tightly compressed and moving my arms was uncomfortable, so it was hard to get up by myself. Especially getting out of bed was the hardest, and laughing or coughing was also surprisingly painful, so I ended up being as careful as possible haha. Still, with painkillers, I could manage, and after about 3 or 4 days the pain clearly decreased. After about a week, daily life was not very inconvenient, and honestly, what bothered me more than the pain itself was not being able to move my body freely for the first few days. Now it has been quite a while since the surgery, so maybe that's why even the memories of the pain have faded a lot, and in the end I feel like I was scared for nothing haha
