Eye Surgery review at Deoseuwan (더스완) · Lateral canthoplasty · 2022-01-07

I had the outer canthoplasty done on December 15. Instead of the lower canthoplasty, they also did some correction with something called “S-something,” so the cost was not cheap. The reason I chose this place was that the hospital atmosphere was clean, the manager was friendly, and the materials the doctor showed were different from those at other hospitals I had looked at for outer/lower canthoplasty. Compared with the 2-3 mm they talked about, I thought the part where they said it could extend more than 5 mm without leaving a scar might be a bit... exaggerated and I didn’t fully believe it, but looking at the immediate post-op result shown during the consultation, I saw that it wasn’t being forced downward like a so-called lower canthoplasty, and instead the eye corner was going down while keeping the current angle (usually people call this making a wave shape), and I thought it didn’t feel excessive. It’s January 7 now, and 20 days have passed, and since I had eyeliner done before, I measured with a ruler how much longer it had become and confirmed that the eye length had extended by about 6 mm. Looking at the back... on other hospitals’ websites, the before-and-after photos show a little scar, and I thought maybe I’d have to accept at least that much, and I half believed it might be photoshopped for this place too, but there is literally not even 1 trace of a D-shape? a U-shaped curve? a red scar? None of that. Seriously... They say that because the eyes were pulled horizontally, the double eyelids also became prettier. My eyes were basically a total mess, with other hospitals also trying not to do anything if possible... After only hearing things like, because of my facial bones it wouldn’t lengthen any more, I came here and had it done, and I’m sincerely grateful, so I’m leaving this post without taking even 1 service.
