Conclusion after a lot of research and legwork: hospitals that have been in business for 10 or 20 years will inevitably have a lot of bad reviews; what matters most is whether they’re right for me. I’ve been to consultations at most hospitals and have lots of surgery/procedure experience, but the reason I chose this one was: The doctor had a polished vibe, looked relaxed, and kept repeating the same things during the consultation, like giving me a lesson before and after the fact; now that I understood, I wanted to discuss a surgery date, but he kept teaching me his surgical philosophy.. I think that was because he spent so long on the consultation.. He felt a little eccentric, but in my book he was still on the kind side in terms of personality. On the day of surgery, it took quite a while to get ready before even seeing the design, and while filling out the consent forms, the staff kept scaring me, which was awkward and over the topㅎ; Maybe because it wasn’t my first surgery, I didn’t feel much? Anyway, the surgery took a long time. Lying there for 4 hours, my back hurt like crazy, I was sleepy, and they kept talking to me, which was an ordeal.. I keep remembering the pain and not knowing whether it was going well or when it would end.. Anyway, the swelling hasn’t gone down completely yet, but overall I’m satisfied.
