I had it done at the hospital about 7 years ago, before they moved to a new location. There were already a lot of stories about inflammation back then, but at that time there were not many hospitals doing straight noses, and I liked the before-and-after photos the most, so I just booked a consultation. But when I went in, there was an obvious smell of cigarettes in the consultation room. And the consultation style was not especially friendly, but they confidently said they could do my nose well, which other hospitals had all been hesitant about, so I booked surgery. After the operation, when they removed the splint, I worried because my nose had gotten so much bigger and looked like a man's nose, as if something had gone wrong. But after about 6 months, once the swelling mostly went down, I liked it. Fortunately, I did not get inflammation either.
