I had my first surgery 2 years ago with silicone + tip surgery + osteotomy, but I wasn't happy with the shape, so I wanted a revision for the tip and the line, and while looking for reviews I found a style that was exactly what I wanted, so I made an appointment. The wait time is a bit long, but I figured every hospital has a wait anyway. While consulting with the doctor, they explained the materials for the surgery and recommended replacing the silicone and doing autologous costal cartilage. I told them I was worried about scarring and mentioned donated costal cartilage, but they confidently said that when harvesting autologous costal cartilage they could do the surgery with as little scarring as possible and that it would be almost unnoticeable, and that they would match what I wanted. I liked that they weren't forcing it on me and were trying their best to reflect my opinion.
