I went in for a consultation and at first I thought I’d have it done here, but then I changed my mind. After going through the reviews here, I realized the director’s style is not the style I want, and the director seems quite stubborn, so I didn’t think they would accept my opinions very well. The chief manager explained things in a strangely detailed way, but since they are not a medical professional, I couldn’t really trust it. The most disappointing part was the advance deposit payment. There was some pressure, and they said because the discounted amount was applied, the deposit would not be refundable. I’ve been to 15 hospitals, and this was the first time I’d ever heard that the deposit is non-refundable;; When I read them the refund policy for deposits printed in the hospital booklet, they said to tell them when I wanted a refund then.;;;; That’s when my trust started breaking down. (Also, this is partly because I’m easily swayed and kind of foolish, and partly because I got caught up in it, but they told me to go get a blood test before leaving. I was trying to say roughly that I’d do the 00 test at a neighborhood clinic and send the result, but they kind of steered me into it, so I ended up getting the 00 test. Of course I can’t get that test fee back if the deposit is refunded, which is annoying, but I just put up with it because I really did get the test.) Anyway... I ended up canceling because I just couldn’t trust them.
