- Eye surgery (Dr. Lee Woo-jin) I had eye correction and double eyelid surgery with full incision. I did in-out lines, and after the stitches came out, the swelling has been going down and the line is lowering little by little, so it’s becoming more natural. They said I can wear makeup starting one month later, so I’m hoping time passes quickly.. At the first consultation I had also been thinking about canthoplasty, but they advised me not to do it, so I only had eye correction and double eyelid surgery. I think this is a good fit for people who want a subtle, natural style rather than a flashy one! The doctor is kind and does the surgery while reflecting your wishes as much as possible for the line you want. Even with swelling, the lines are very symmetrical, so I’m waiting to post photo updates at the one-month mark :) - Nose surgery (Dr. Lee Jae-jun) I had a re-revision nose surgery with autologous costal cartilage and no implant. My nose had had inflammation from silicone several years ago, so I said I hoped to correct the bulbous nose and crooked nose again without an implant, and the doctor said it was possible, so I decided to have the surgery. The three hospitals where I only had consultations had all turned me down.. The surgery consisted of re-correction of the bulbous nose + re-correction of the crooked nose + slight correction of the hump + removal of donated rib cartilage, then surgery using autologous costal cartilage. Because of the swelling, my nose is still puffy, but even so the side line of my nose seems more elegant than before, so it feels similar to the side profile they created for me with 3D virtual surgery at the first consultation..! I’m also walking around so the front swelling will go down soon. I tend to swell easily, so I really think I have to look at the long term. I’ll probably edit this after a month to talk about what changed. They said the area where the autologous rib cartilage was taken is healing well, but there’s still some pain. They said there are no separate stitches for the autologous rib cartilage here, and that it’s dissolvable thread, so even at the two-week mark there was no separate stitch removal for the ribs. From the many reviews I saw, it seems like they’re the type who make the tip of the nose slim and neat, so I’m just watching the swelling go down day by day..
