First of all, among the four hospitals I went around, the doctor here was the most enthusiastic. My mom kept telling me to go here because my dad’s friend’s daughter had surgery here, so I dragged myself there, but I think I did well to listen. The manager listened to all of my worries from the side while I was agonizing over whether to use ear cartilage plus septal cartilage or autologous costal cartilage, and thought it through with me. But they said she quit because of health reasons, so I’m really disappointed ㅠ Anyway, I already set the surgery date here, but maybe because I worry so much, I’m honestly still thinking about it. People around me are saying my nose doesn’t really need surgery, so that’s why I’m still debating it. If I do it for no reason and end up with side effects and looking even uglier, I will seriously cry and make a huge scene. I need to trust the doctor first ㅜ They said that’s how it goes well, so I’ll try to trust them for now ㅠㅠㅠㅠ I really hope it turns out well ㅜㅜ Oh, and I could choose between septal cartilage + ear cartilage or autologous costal cartilage, and the doctor recommended septal cartilage + ear cartilage. But for some reason, when I heard that using septal cartilage could get absorbed and sag, I spent about a week thinking and then told them I’d rather use autologous costal cartilage. And this was the only hospital that told me I could do the surgery with septal cartilage, which was nice, but I’m still going to use autologous costal cartilage. I don’t care about the rib scar or anything, I just want to succeed on the first try without side effects.
