It was an unpleasant consultation. Before visiting, I had a good feeling about this hospital and thought I definitely wanted to get surgery here, so I went. First of all, the counseling director was kind and a good person. But while the doctor was consulting with me, he suddenly wrapped things up and left in a hurry. I wondered what was going on, and later learned through the director that the doctor was upset because I mentioned another hospital...?? Apparently, because I said something like "at another hospital...", he felt like I was shopping around different hospitals and hesitating like that, and that made him uncomfortable... I only asked something along these lines: <At another hospital they mentioned this surgical method, is it different from that? Some hospitals say surgery can be done without dissolving the filler, is that necessary?> I wasn't talking down to them or questioning them in a suspicious tone; I asked because I honestly didn't know, like a student would. Is that really such an offensive question? Then the doctor cut me off and said, "Then go get surgery at that hospital." He said the surgery methods at other hospitals were something he had already been doing 20 years ago. Isn't it normal for patients to compare several hospitals? Patients understand the surgical method and choose the place they trust most. Then what am I supposed to do at a consultation? Am I supposed to come back after praising the doctor? And I was also upset that they said I had to do cat-eye surgery without giving a detailed explanation. I know the doctor's own pride matters, but I value service mindset and character more, because they are also tied to aftercare if problems arise. I came away feeling completely the opposite from how I felt before visiting this hospital. Honestly, I'm glad it got filtered out.
