I wanted something natural, so I went in for a consultation. I did ask for it to be natural, but the doctor also seemed to set the line very conservatively. They recommended silicone and the septum, and while other places recommended silicone at 3 to 4 mm, here they recommended a lower 2 to 3 mm. Even when I mentioned autologous costal cartilage, they said the septum would be enough, and it felt like they really only wanted to improve my appearance with the minimum necessary
