It was a paid consultation, but it was worse than other hospitals where it was free. I’m not asking for excessive politeness, but since I was paying a consultation fee, I expected more focus on the consultation itself. Instead, they talked about surgery outside the consultation topic, and in the end I feel like I didn’t hear much about the area I actually wanted surgery on. When I was speaking during the consultation, they would just scratch lines into the chart with a pencil, then say, “Are you done?”
